Production

Tool Room / TPM Operations

 Assisting in estimating new tooling requirements and costs; coordinating tool design revisions in relation to product design changes and reverse engineering.

 Troubleshooting all technical problems; conducting various tests & inspections to ensure that products developed are in compliance with pre-set technical specifications.

 Acting as a TPM coordinator for implementing JIPM TPM philosophy that includes all 8 pillar approach, Kaizens, 5S, etc.

 Preparing the 8 pillar presentation coordinating with respective pillar chairman.

 Identifying TPM related training needs, preparation of training material and conducting the training programs.

 Establishing the system & implementation of 5S activities across the plant.

 Conducting internal kaizen presentation.

 Organising TPM awareness program every week for the employees.

 Implementing I GAP as per company policy.

 Coordinating various training program to operators and supervisors level.



Design Engineering

 Developing the conceptual design of new products entailing drawings & specification study, quotation enquiry study & finalisation, vendor selection & finalisation, schedule for development, first sample approval, tool modification and final part approval.

 Overseeing design and development of products involving detailing, tool / mould development.

 Preparing BOM and coordinating for the selection of suitable materials for various components to meet design reliability and quality goals.

 Designing the product to meet customer requirement & translating the design model using various tools.

 Reviewing the engineering / design changes & resolving quality related problems associated with design.

 Final checking and release of engineering drawings for the development.

Process Engineering / Audits

 Identifying scope for planning & implementing technological changes to enhance productivity.

 Conducting the design analysis of problems, failures and rejections in production.

 Reducing tool down times through:

o Tool preventive maintenance.

o Critical spares maintenance.

o Reducing tool setting time.

 Modifying and updating of processes for improvements ongoing.

 Executing cost saving techniques / measures and modifications to achieve substantial reduction in O&M expenditures and work within the budget.

 Conducting JH step internal audit in all the machines periodically.

 Handling pillar review every week and coordinating JIPM consulting review once in a 2 months.
